Hi, I’m Krystle.
I’m a Toronto-based surface pattern and illustration designer creating whimsical, story-driven artwork for brands and product collaborations.
Although I fell in love with art at a young age, life eventually pulled me in other directions. In 2017, a spontaneous paint night reignited that creative spark — and I decided to follow it.
When the pandemic hit, I lost my job and experienced the heartbreaking loss of my younger brother, Christopher. During that difficult season, art became a lifeline. I immersed myself in learning new mediums and eventually discovered the world of surface pattern design.
With an iPad, a laptop, and a self-taught crash course in Photoshop, I launched an Etsy shop and made over 400 sales in my first year. What began as healing quickly grew into a creative business.
Today, I design cohesive pattern collections for licensing, helping brands bring personality, joy, and storytelling to everyday products.
